How long does it take to set up a campaign?

Please allow 1 week for your campaign to be fully set up. Payment of the first month's invoice including the set up fee and first month's management fee will be required to get started.

What tools do you use to combat Click Fraud?

I use Click Fraud tracking tools where we suspect a client's adverts are bring clicked fraudulently. We also ban certain IP addresses from viewing your ads, which actually prevent competitors from seeing your adverts.

How do you research competitors?

I can download entire competitor's campaigns and analyse them to find out how we can create a superior campaign

Is that ethical?

The information is freely available on the web. Don't you think they are doing the same to you? :-)

Do you create Landing Pages?

I can advise on landing page creation, and write copy for landing pages. Please ask for a price. I cannot create the actual page for you, as I am not a web designer or coder. However I can work in Dreamweaver if you have template pages or a CMS to create the page.

What is a typical Return On Investment?

Typically ROI should get to between 5x and 20x your monthly Google AdWords spend. However this does not happen overnight. Please note that sometimes you have to factor in that 1 sale might be worth £100 immediately, but that same client is worth £1200 in lifetime value and repeat orders. Don't make the mistake of presuming ROI ONLY applies to the first sale!

Please don't email me a few hours after the campaign goes live wondering why you have not sold anything yet - it really does take time to work! I adjust the bids over the week, examine visitor traffic and add in new keywords over the first month.

Should PPC and SEO be run together?

Certainly, it is definitely advisable to run PPC and SEO at the same time. Ideally a PPC campaign should be used first, to find the most profitable keywords to optimise for. Then SEO should be used. If you only use one method our of the two, what happens tomorrow if Google changes their algorithm and you drop off the front page?

Can you redesign my website?

Sadly I cannot get involved in web design, as I am not a designer or coder. I do have recommended web designers I can point you in the direction of.

Can you put the tracking code onto my website for me?

No, I require you to pass the code onto your web designer or place it on the website yourself. It doesn't take long - so don't let them charge you a fortune!

What is the minimum term you recommend?

Allow at least 3 months to start to see results.
