Should PPC and SEO be run together?
Certainly, it is definitely advisable to run PPC and SEO at the same time. Where possible a PPC campaign should be used first, to find the most profitable keywords to optimise for. Then SEO should be used. If you only use one method out of these two, what happens tomorrow for example if Google changes their algorithm and you drop off the front page?
Does using Social Media help with SEO?
It certainly does! For this reason we suggest you do make sure you set up Twitter, Facebook and Linked In accounts at the very least. We can help manage it for you too if you wish.

Can you put the tracking codes onto my website for me?
No, we require you to pass the code onto your web designer or place it on the website yourself.
What type of reports will I receive?
You will receive monthly reports for all our services as follows:
PPC reports include conversions, CTR, monthly comparison, suggestions for improvements to your website, and a Google Analytics ecommerce breakdown where available
Social Media reports include the level of feedback received from Social Media back to your main website
SEO reports include keyword rankings, movements over the month, Google Analytics snapshot and keywords used by visitors as well as a separate report containing your new links
What is the minimum term you recommend?
Ideally allow at least 3 months for PPC (although there is no minimum term for PPC) and 6 months for SEO and Social Media to start to see real results. The first month with PPC is always the most expensive as new keywords are discovered, bid prices are altered etc. For this reason we do suggest a 3 month minimum term. Please note that you will be required to sign up to a minimum of 6 months with SEO and Social Media to ensure sufficient time to see and analyse results
What are your payment methods?
We can take payments only via Direct Debit, Standing Order or Paypal subscription. The only requirement is that you are on one of these automated payment methods. We do not accept payment on invoice.

Can we have access to our PPC accounts?
Yes certainly
Do we pay any extra for the clicks if we work with you?
No - you pay exactly the same for the click costs, which you will pay directly to Google. We charge a management fee only. Working with us means your click costs will actually REDUCE substantially. This is because we reduce irrelevant clicks and optimise for something called Quality Score, which affects the cost of each click.
What tools do you use to combat Click Fraud?
We can use Click Fraud tracking tools where we suspect a client's adverts are bring clicked fraudulently. We also ban certain IP addresses from viewing your ads, which actually prevent competitors from seeing your adverts.
How many keywords will you use?
For our platinum AdWords package, we will use many hundreds or thousands of keywords depending on the market, split into related Ad Groups. The exact number depends on the products and services you sell. The keywords will be a combination of different match types
How will my account differ if I only sell products or services locally?
We will set your account up with two different campaigns, one showing in your specific town or region, and a second campaign which runs nationwide where it mentions the name of the town in each keyword. This is to capture people searching from addresses outside your area who are still seeking services within your area.
How do you research competitors?
We can download entire competitor's campaigns and analyse them to find out how we can create a superior campaign
What is a typical Return On Investment?
Typically ROI should get to between 5x and 20x your monthly PPC spend. However this does not happen overnight. Please note that sometimes you have to factor in that 1 sale might be worth £100 immediately, but that same client is worth £1200 in lifetime value and repeat orders. Don't make the mistake of presuming ROI ONLY applies to the first sale! Please don't email us a few hours after the campaign goes live wondering why you have not sold anything yet - it really does take time to work! We adjust the bids over the week, examine visitor traffic and add in new keywords over the first month.
Do you market information products?
We cannot assist with information products such as ebooks, email courses, or any MLM products. Our expertise lies in working with clients in the B2B sectors and clients with ecommerce websites in the B2C sectors.
SEO FAQ
How long will it take until I start seeing results?
In the past, we have had clients see serious results within a couple of weeks. However, the time taken to start seeing results varies on a number of factors. Websites that have existed for a long period of time will see results quickly. Also, non competitive keywords will start to see results at a quicker rate. The expected situation is that the SEO will start paying for itself within a 6-12 month period, in terms of the new prospects you are brought as a result.
What does the setup stage involve?
We create new metatags and page copy based on your chosen keywords. These will be sent over to you and your web designer for placing onto your website. This is a simple straight forward job, and we hope it would be completed within 1 to 7 days at most. Please note we cannot place these for you.
How should my keywords be selected?
Choose a variety of non-competitive and competitive keywords. Non-competitive keywords will rise to the top quickly and bring fast results, and competitive keywords will bring you a greater volume of traffic, but will take many months to get to the top.
Do you carry out full SEO audits?
The SEO products we offer are for smaller websites and audits are only required or needed for larger websites. As we rarely work on larger websites (over 30 pages) we do not offer these to any of our clients.
How will I know what links you have created?
We will also send you a report containing the work we have carried out for you over the previous month. This report, along with your keyword ranking and Google Analytics report, will be sent over during the first 5 working days of the month.
Can I change my keywords?
Certainly! After a few months, if you realise your chosen keywords are not bringing you any business, you can change your keywords. Contact us for a keyword review. It’s not recommended to do this too often – ideally once every 6 months at most!
